No. Many people come to us before registration. We can support your registration application first and move into recruitment once you are eligible to practise, in most cases the two run in parallel, with registration leading.
It depends on your regulator and your training background. The HCPC generally requires evidence of English proficiency, most commonly IELTS, unless you qualify for an exemption. The GMC and NMC generally accept IELTS or OET at defined minimum scores. CORU does not apply a universal testing requirement. It depends on your registration board. Always confirm the current requirement directly with your regulator.
Any costs that apply to you are set out in writing before you commit to anything. You will never be asked to pay for something that has not been explained and agreed in advance, and you are free to step away at any point. If you are ever unclear about who is paying for what, ask us directly. That question always deserves a straight answer.
Yes. Both the UK Health and Care Worker visa and Ireland's Critical Skills Employment Permit are employer-linked. The UK route additionally requires a Certificate of Sponsorship from an employer holding a valid sponsor licence.
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says otherwise. Registration decisions rest entirely with the regulator. What we can commit to is a complete, well-evidenced application and support at every stage of it.
