About us

A consultancy built around what candidates are not usually told

Britwington Consultancy UK Ltd supports healthcare professionals through professional registration, ethical recruitment and the visa routes into the United Kingdom and Ireland. We are specific about how we work, because in this sector specificity is what trust is actually made of.

Who we are

What we do, plainly

Britwington Consultancy UK Ltd is a UK-based consultancy specialising in healthcare recruitment, professional registration support, visa guidance and career assistance for healthcare professionals seeking opportunities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We work with nurses and midwives, doctors and general physicians, allied health professionals and healthcare students. Some come to us at the very beginning, unsure which country or regulator applies to them. Others arrive with an application already stalled and need to know whether it is fixable. Both are good places to start.

What connects everything we do is that registration, recruitment and immigration are not separate problems. Each is gated by the others, and the most common cause of a timeline running to years rather than months is that they were handled as though they were independent. We treat them as one sequence.

How we work

Four commitments you can hold us to

These are not aspirations. They are conditions of how we operate, and you are entitled to challenge us on any of them.

We say what we cannot do

No consultancy can guarantee a regulator's decision or an immigration outcome, and any that claims otherwise is telling you something about itself. We are specific about where our influence ends: a complete, well-evidenced application and dedicated support through every stage of it.

We give the assessment, not the pitch

If your qualification makes a route difficult, you will hear that at the first conversation rather than after months of investment. An early honest answer is worth considerably more than encouragement that costs you a year.

We put the terms in front of you first

Role, employer, location, contract terms and the process ahead, set out before you are asked to commit. You keep your own documents, and you can end our engagement at any point.

We stay accountable after the offer

The point at which most recruitment relationships end is the point at which the candidate is most exposed. Ours continues through onboarding and arrival.

What sets us apart

Why professionals choose to work with us

Ethical by default

Terms in writing before you commit. The employer named before you decide. No manufactured urgency, and no penalty for changing your mind.

The right route, not the quickest sale

We assess your qualification honestly and tell you when a route is a poor fit, including when the answer is one you would rather not hear.

Three systems, one conversation

Registration, recruitment and immigration are separate systems that depend on each other. We sequence all three so nothing waits on something it did not need to.

Support that outlasts the offer

Our involvement does not end when a contract is signed. Onboarding, arrival and the questions that come afterwards are part of the same engagement.

Our scope

The regulators and countries we cover

Four regulators across two countries. Working across both means the choice between them can be made on the facts rather than on which one a consultancy happens to handle.

Ask us the questions you'd ask any consultancy

Who pays us and for what. What we can and cannot influence. What happens if you change your mind. We'd rather answer those upfront than have you wonder.
